Flanged Heater

Flanged Heaters are used to heat fluids. These Fluids can be Gas or their mixtures, Water, Oils, Heavy Oils or Thermal fluids. These heaters are heavy duty heaters with wattage ranging from few kilowatts to few hundred kilowatts with single or three phase connection in Y or Delta fashion. These heaters have flange size which is compatible with the tank flange. Since these heaters are usually big in size and customized as per the client requirement, we at Modern Radiant Heating Prepare a solid 3d model and respective drawing and is shared by client for client approval. After approval, the manufacturing is then initiated.

Flange Types and Materials

We use Standard Stainless Steel Flanges as Specified in ASME B16.5 or otherwise Specified

Heating Elements

We Use SS 304 and SS 316 as sheath material. However Heating element with other sheath material is also available on request

Heating Elements Assembly

Heating elements are Brazed to SS Sleeve which are TIG welded to Flange. Direct TIG Welded Heating Element with Dia above 16mm is also available.

Electrical Connection and Style

In a Flanged HeaterConnection of heating elements are done with copper/Brass Strips. The Connection can be done in either Star or Delta fashion. Star type connection is usually done for low powered heating elements or otherwise delta type is preferred.
